Heaven Farm Camping Terms & Conditions
1. Arrival and departure time
Please arrive between 1 pm and 7.00 pm. Late arrivals must be agreed by prior arrangement. Set up must be done before dusk so not to disturb other guests. Departure must be no later than 11 am. Office hours are between 10am. - 5.00 pm. Mon-Thurs & Sun 10am. – 7.00 pm Fri & Sat
2. Vehicles:
We only allow vehicles that are being slept in i.e., motorhomes/ campervans at the pitch. 1 car per pitch when camping. No visitors’ cars are allowed on the field without prior arrangements. No commercial or twin-wheel vehicles are allowed. The speed limit throughout the campsite is strictly 5mph for all vehicles.
3. Large groups:
We are a quiet peaceful family site. No loud music is allowed Quiet time must be observed strictly between 10.30 pm and 8 am.
4. Dogs:
A maximum of 2 dogs allowed per pitch. Dogs must always be kept on a lead. Please remember – not everybody likes dogs. Dogs should not be allowed to interfere with or annoy other visitors or livestock. Please clean up after your dog including on the dog walks outside the campsite. When fouling occurs on the campsite, you are expected to bag (available at the farm office) and dispose of it responsibly; this is in the interest of everyone, especially children. Dogs may not be taken into the washrooms or cleaned there. Dogs are not to be left unattended such that they cause inconvenience to other campsite users.
5. Safety of children – IMPORTANT!
No hard leather footballs or cricket balls are allowed, only softball games and to be played away from pitches and cars etc. Please ensure you always know where your children are.
Children must be accompanied by an adult in the shower room. Playing in the shower/toilets, car parking area or in and around the private areas behind the Tea Rooms / garage is not allowed.
Children must always be accompanied on the woodland walk. Parents must be aware this area is used by other members of the public.
Heaven Farm Leisure & Butler partnership do not accept any responsibility and will not accept any liability for harm or injury to unaccompanied children.
We encourage all the children to have fun and enjoy their time at the site, but we ask for them to respectful of other campers and their property
6. General conduct/ Noise:
Quiet must be observed between 10.30 pm and 8 am. Due consideration must be given to the quiet enjoyment of the other guests. Amplified music and televisions must be always at a low reasonable level and not disturb other campers, music must be switched off at 10.30 pm. Caravan/ Tent Owners are responsible for the conduct of all users or visitors. Alcoholic drinks may only be consumed in and around the immediate vicinity of your pitch. No drinking is allowed in the communal areas of the farm. Anyone who persistently acts in a manner likely to upset other users of the farm or Staff will be asked to leave the farm. We are a family campsite – loud, foul, intimidating language or behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone who is requested to leave the farm due to anti-social behaviour, including drunkenness, loutish demeanour, excessive noise, will forfeit the right to a refund of pitch fees paid in advance. Our staff will be the sole arbiters as to what constitutes anti-social behaviour.
In the event of a complaint please alert us immediately. Complaints cannot be dealt with after you have left.
7. Cleanliness:
Keep all areas clean and tidy after use. Please use the litter bins provided. Keep pitches tidy, surrounding areas and check for litter on departure. Please do not use the hedges for a toilet, disposing of nappies or other sanitary items.
Please note: All refuse and broken equipment must be taken home, if you are unable to take this home, we do have a limited amount of recycling bins and general waste bins. Bins are for normal small household rubbish, please do not put broken and unwanted camping equipment etc in them, please take it home with you. This facility can be found next to the farm office. Please help to leave all the facilities and communal areas clean for your fellow campers. A clean site is a happy site for all.
8. Fire risk
We only allow BBQs and fire pits that are on legs and off the ground. Disposable BBQs or BBQ's that are under waste height must be put on bricks or slate. Please refrain from using disposable BBQs on our farm benches. Ground fires are not allowed. Please do not burn the grass. Fireworks and Chinese lanterns are not permitted under any circumstances.
9. Poor conditions
In the event of poor ground conditions which is out of our control i.e., the weather, a pitch may not be available or useable. The team will endeavour to offer an alternative solution and advise you in advance should this occur, but no responsibility can be accepted if this is not possible.
10. Hire Items
BBQs when you leave BBQs and grill are to be left clean at the designated area which is located at the right-hand side of the toilets and shower.
Bell tent hire is available. It is the client’s responsibility to check the bell tent on arrival and report any damage. Clients will be invoiced for any repairs or replacement. Please do not remove lighting bunting or carpets from the bell tent.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR BBQ/FIREPITS AT LEAST 4 MTS SAFE DISTANCE FROM THE BELTENTS, SPARKS CAN BURN THE FABRIC.
All hire items and wood will be delivered to your pitch late afternoon.
11. Liability
Heaven Farm Leisure & Butler Partnership will not accept any liability of any description for any person or property using the campsite. Visitors are advised to obtain appropriate insurance cover.
We ask that during your stay you respect the countryside and observe the countryside code of practice.
We are a working farm and animals graze the fields and vehicles are used in and around the farm daily.
